Marine scientist investigating factors that increase marine ecosystem resilience to climate change
I use a suite of model animals (e.g. sea urchins, anemones) and systems (e.g. CO2 vents, mangrove ecosystems), quantitative tools and remote sensing technologies to study marine systems at various scales. I aim to discover and utilise underlying ecological processes likely to increase coral reef ecosystem health to ensure the persistence of these ecosystems through climate change.
